GBC is a non-denominational, multi-ethnic, evangelical, reformed church in Gungahlin, ACT. The church was planted in 2021 from Southside Bible Church. Our desire is to help people in the Gungahlin region FIND Jesus and FOLLOW Jesus. As a young church with an expanding community, we are committed to providing a vibrant, bible-based environment for children to grow in their discovery of Jesus.
Our current Kids/Youth ministries are on a Sunday morning, and include:
- GBCreche (toddlers)
- GBKs (preschool – year 5)
- Horizon Youth (year 6 – 12)
Essential Criteria:
- Able to teach God’s Word to children.
- Ability to lead, plan & problem solve , be organised and depend on God in prayer.
- Mature Christian of Godly character. Humble and teachable. A passion for Jesus and kids.
- Able to connect with families of many cultures.
- Theological training or willingness to study.
- Safe Ministry training and clearance.
