Historically Mayfield Baptist as a church began as a Sunday School outreach program that is now soon to enter its 100th year as a church. Our Kids Ministry is considered one of our key and one of our most long-serving focuses.
Currently, we are running two Sunday Morning Programs at Mayfield Kids; our Little Embers Program (0-5 Age) and Embassy Kids Program (5-12 Age). Though are keen to find someone who is passionate about partnerships and open to pioneer new programs.

Mayfield Baptist Church is committed to nurturing the potential of our children, and we are excited to welcome a passionate leader to direct our enthusiastic Mayfield Kids team and champion our kids from Term 3 2024 onwards.

Summary of Position
​The Kids and Young Families Director is responsible for providing opportunities and environments for children to discover and develop their faith in Christ. They do this by partnering with families through equipping and resourcing and providing leadership, vision, and direction to both the Kids Leadership Team and members of Mayfield Kids which is cultivated through planning, providing, and evaluating programs and events for Mayfield Kids.

This is recognised as a part-time position of 2-3 days per week
This position is offered as a pastoral or non-pastoral role
