About the Opportunity:
Located on the stunning shores of Lake Macquarie, CRU’s Lake Macquarie site spans over 6.5 hectares of waterfront bliss, complemented by an additional 40 hectares of lush bushland. As a Property Assistant, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining and preparing camp facilities to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our campers.
Responsibilities:
·      General maintenance and upkeep of the bushland and bivouac site.
·      Ground keeping duties including lawn mowing, gardening, and maintenance of bushwalking tracks.
·      Repairs and maintenance tasks such as basic plumbing, painting, and carpentry.
·      Procuring site consumables and equipment.
·      Maintenance of the site’s boat fleet and associated infrastructure.
·      Upkeep of activity equipment e.g. climbing tower, mission impossible course.
·      Support for water activities e.g.: refuelling safety boats and repairing sailboats.
·      Operation and maintenance of security systems across all areas of the site.
·      Support other areas of operation as required.
Requirements:
·      Passion for working outdoors and maintaining facilities.
·      Trade qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
·      Ability to perform various maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, carpentry and painting.
·      All applicant must have work eligibility in Australia and hold a Working with Children Check (or be willing to apply for one).
