WORD is looking for reliable, hands on people to join their new mail order distribution warehouse team in Noosaville on the Sunshine Coast QLD.
Duties include picking and packing orders, stacking shelves and other associated duties.
You will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment, as well as general stock handling around the warehouse and showroom.
Duties include
- Pick orders accurately from a picking slip.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently ready for courier pickup
- Receive, check, and put away incoming stock
- Keep the warehouse floor, packing stations, and stock areas tidy and organised
- Assist with stock take and general warehouse housekeeping
- You will be trained to respond to customer queries by telephone and email.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in warehousing, picking/packing, retail experience is a big advantage. However If you are straight from school training will be provided.
- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive lifting and manual handling up to 15–20kg
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team and alone
- Good attention to detail — accuracy matters, we ship a high volume of orders daily
