Seeking an enthusiastic associate pastor to work with existing leadership in growing and nurturing our congregation, in particular Young Adults and families. To Co-Pastor alongside our Senior pastor.
About us
We are a medium sized church (and growing),situated in the Penrith area of the Sydney Western Suburbs.
We are part of the Christian Community Churches of Australia (CCC AUST.) and have been serving in Cambridge Park for more than 50 years.
We have 2 church premises from which we run our Sunday morning and evening services and a diversity of ministries that take place during the week.
Essential Criteria
– Have a passion for Jesus and His church.
– Spiritual maturity, integrity and Christian character
– Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with an ability to work well in a team.
– Pastoral Care- able to recognise and appropriately address the needs of the congregation,
whether spiritually, emotionally or physically.
– Competent in preaching and communicating, being willing to preach regularly.
– Either completed, or in progress, theological/ministry qualifications, or other relevant training.
– Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
– Hold a current NSW Working with Children Check.

Initially 19 hrs p/wk in the Sydney area (or remote).
A Mortgage Broker’s Assistant is required to complement the work of the broker in his practice as a broker.
The matters to be attended to include the Lodgement of material into the CRM of the Broker within the software of the aggregator, the broker company CRM and various other matters to be attended to within the brokerage to assist him in the operation of his practice which is situated in the greater Sydney area.
The position requires that the assistant be able to work a 19 hour week initially, either in the Sydney area or remotely if they reside elsewhere.
The practice / business is in the process of expansion after recovering from a low base and the weekly time will be expanded to 38hrs/week as the business expands and its needs increase. A mutually agreed salary will be paid.

Employment Opportunity: Associate Pastor English Congregation
Hills Christian Alliance Church is a part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. We have three congregations (Cantonese, English and Mandarin). We started the English congregation in 2008 and have developed into a mature congregation with about 50 people. The congregation consists of high school and university students, working adults and young couples.
We are currently running the following ministries:
Ø Sunday Worship
Ø Friday night fellowship
Ø Young Adults cell group
Ø Children Sunday school
Ø Worship team practice
Ø Bible study
We have a team of leaders in the English congregation who are involved in those ministries, however, we are looking for a suitable candidate called into pastoral ministry to further develop and disciple our English congregation.
Job Summary
This is a full-time pastoral position that has the responsibility of developing and supervising all ministries of the English Congregation, the goal of which is a Christ-centered ministry that builds up believers, trains them for ministry, and equips them to reach others.
Qualifications
1. Education Requirements: Bachelor Degree in theological studies or related field.
2. Pastoral Experience: Minimum of one year pastoral experience. Experience may include internship, mission work, or other full-time or part-time ministries. Sensitivity to issues in a multicultural, multilingual, and multigenerational congregation is preferable.
4. Acceptance of C&MA Statement of faith, Doctrine and Tradition
5. Love People: A caring individual willing to invest in the lives of his flock in doing life together. Is skilled and involved in interpersonal relationships and works well as part of a team.
6. Administrative Skills: Has appropriate administrative skills particularly that of prioritising in planning, organising, executing and delegating lay leaders in such a manner that develops a spirit of team ministry. Willingness to work with pastoral and office staff is a necessity.
Responsibilities
1. To preach and teach the Bible with passion and conviction.
2. To provide pastoral care to members of the congregation.
3. To challenge, guide, support, equip new and existing leaders for youth and young adults.
4. Develop and work with team leaders to provide leadership and oversight of our existing ministries.
5. Engage in disciple making to impact lives immerse in spiritual studies and doctrinal teachings.
6. To equip and challenge members and leaders in pro-active community engagement and evangelism.
7. Involve in short-term and long-term planning for the congregation and church.
8. Will report to the Senior Pastor.

Our Place Christian Communities is a ministry seeking to
– Inspire and resource churches to meaningfully include people with disabilities in their church families.
– Coordinate pastoral care and disciple-making for residents of our partner homes.
This position requires initiative and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will have a strong and active Christian faith, some theological training, and experience (with ideally some qualification) in working with people with disabilities.
This position can work from home, but as our partner homes are in Springwood and Strathfield, some working from these sites will be required.
