Life&Legacy Church is seeking a Kids Church Director for one day a week (8 hrs). The successful applicant will have a heart for the church and be aligned with its vision, mission and ethos. They would also possess a passion to see kids pastored, discipled, and encounter Jesus.
The role will encompass 3 branches: kids, kids team, and parents & community. Your roles will include:
– devising programs and curriculum for Sunday kids church
– organising resources and space
– recruiting volunteers
– Training
– Rostering and building teams
– Engaging in events to foster both church community and a link with the wider community.
The right person will have the following attributes:
– A vibrant relationship with Jesus
– Good people skills
– Good administrative skills
– A good knowledge of the Bible
– Enjoys working as part of the team with our lead pastors
– Experience in kids ministry is preferred
Qualifications:
The following qualifications are not mandatory but would be looked upon favourably:
– Teaching degree.
– Leadership certificates or tertiary education.
– Theological qualifications.
