Mayfield Baptist Church (MBC) celebrates a rich history spanning nearly a century, fostering a vibrant, multi-generational community that includes individuals of all ages—from newborns to those over 90. MBC embraces a unique flat leadership model, meaning we do not operate under a single senior pastor. Instead, we are guided by our Church Leadership Team (CLT) and Eldership. This structure enhances our mission and vision by harnessing a diverse array of skills and perspectives. Every staff role is intentionally created to align with our core values, fostering collaboration and inclusivity within our church community.

Summary of Role
The Operations Manager (or Pastor) is responsible for managing, coordinating, and streamlining the church’s operations, administration, and finances, with a focus on efficiency and best practices.
Primary duties include managing the Church Management System (CMS), developing and maintaining policies and processes, assisting the Treasurer with financial administration, and ensuring robust Safe Church and WHS compliance.
Effectively, this individual serves as a team leader and systems expert whose main goal is to free up pastors for ministry and ensure the smooth, unified, and legally compliant functioning of the church. Pastoral duties (if applicable) would be negotiated.
