Food4Thought is a national, values-based not-for-profit marketplace ministry creating opportunities for Christian business owners, executives, and workers build real relationships with unchurched colleagues and friends. Through hosted networking dinner events, guests explore faith in a relaxed, authentic environment and become part of a genuine community.
Role Purpose:
The Client Service Manager encourages and supports F4T group leaders around Australia, so their groups stay strong, aligned, and mission focused on quality guest speakers, the Alpha program, commitments and recommitments along with discipleship. Working within the national development team, this role drives group health and quality, ensuring leaders are resourced, confident, and connected across Australia. A natural energy, passion and empathetic love of people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leader Support – Build trust-based relationships with leaders; understand their context, challenges, and team dynamics; where possible, visit and be in contact with groups regularly to stay connected to culture and needs.
- Coaching & Development – Help leaders apply F4T frameworks, introduce new tools and resources, and maintain healthy group culture and engagement.
- Problem Solving – Provide guidance, prayerful support, and practical solutions when challenges arise.
- Collaboration – Work closely with State Managers to ensure consistent leader care; share insights and feedback with the national office for continuous improvement.
Skills & Attributes:
- Possess a burden for the lost
- Strong relational and empathetic communicator with strong coaching instincts
- Business or leadership background; able to relate to business leaders, owners, and workers in this volunteer ministry role
- Mature passionate Christian faith with natural, proactive prayerful leadership
- Organised, proactive, and self-motivated with natural communication skills
- Actively involved in or willing to join a Food4Thought group
- Very team orientated internally and externally
