We are seeking an experienced Pastor/Director to lead our Youth Ministry (also known as “Kinetic”) at our City Campus. This position is offered on a Part-time (15.2-26.6 hours per week) basis.
The successful candidate will join our pastoral staff team and be responsible for shepherding and discipling the youths at the City Campus. The aim of the Youth Ministry is to see youths discipled in Christ and reached for Christ through pastoral leadership, leadership development, pastoral care, and modelling discipleship. The Youth Pastor/Director will develop structures and strategies to lead and multiply Connect Groups and build a strong missional spirit within the ministry.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead the Youth (Kinetic) Ministry in alignment with FCC’s mission, vision and seasonal focus.
- Provide pastoral leadership, care and discipleship to leaders and youths.
- Identify, develop and deploy volunteers into leadership roles.
- Spearhead and oversee the execution of Kinetic Connect Groups, services, summer/winter camps, and other programmes.
- Collaborate with other ministries to holistically disciple youths, including working with Faith Kids (Year 6/7 transition) and Vibe (University student transition).
- Work with parents of youths to foster wholistic discipleship.
- Preach in services as assigned and roster teaching to align with the corporate church theme.
